On Sunday evening 25th January 1998, I was at my gas stove when my bathrobe sleeve caught on fire.
The fire quickly spread over the whole surface of my garment and I was encapsulated in fire.
Thoughts of remembering fire procedure and safety codes ran through my head but I realised I did not have time to think or ponder!
As the fire became more fierce I shouted the Name of Jesus and commanded the fire to stop. Immediately the flames subsided and I was free of the flames.
Relieved God had kept me from the fire I checked my clothes - there wasn't even the smallest scorch mark. Praise God, He keeps us when we pass through the fire - Isaiah 43:1. We can run into the tower of the Name of Jesus and be safe - Proverbs 18:10.
