This is our departure from campus on our first weekend mission to churches in the area of Chandrapur about 150 miles from Nagpur. *

Simon prays for the sick. After I'd preached the word many of the women brought up their children for prayer. There were a lot of people with respiratory ailments in this coal burning, coal producing town. *

Ruth and Bharati trek into a village church meeting. Ruth is carrying our much needed drinking water as local water is not boiled or purified. *
We saw these women at the well as we trekked into the first of the village churches we ministered at. Later Simon preached on the water of the word using the words of Jesus to the Samaritan woman at the well.*
A newly completed church! This beautiful, little church building was deep in the countryside. It has a very lively attendance. The writing on the front walls gives the healing testimony of two church members! *

God's presence was almost tangible as the Spirit came upon the people of Jesus Calls Church during our meeting there. We prayed for their sick and laid hands on the elders. The Spirit moved on them wonderfully.*
Pastor Simon is laying hands on this man for healing. At all the meetings many people came forwards for prayer. Many came for healing, but others came for prayer for children, for a job or for leadership anointing.*
There were a number of men present at this meeting whom I could see had an anointing for leadership. We called them to the front. As Sanjay and I prayed for them they all fell down under the power of the Holy Spirit.*
Ladies of a house church. Fifty believers packed into a tiny ground floor flat and sang praises to God at the tops of their voices! The sound carried outwards to the whole neighbourhood.*
