| T | here are great things of the Spirit of God for you to mind in Psalm 23. |
|---|
Why not allow Psalm 23 to cause you to live above the pressure of the problems you're facing at the moment? You can do this! You just need to get your mind fully occupied with the promises of power, protection and prosperity that God gives you in this psalm.
How do you do this? By meditating upon it line by line. You can take each line to heart and reflect on what God is saying in it and promising by it.
I find it best to meditate on scripture by speaking each line out loud to myself. (Johua 1:8) This draws my attention to it better. Speaking a promise aloud also takes my attention away from the pressure of any problem I'm facing and causes faith to come in my heart. (Romans 10:17)
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul:
He leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies:
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." Psalm 23 - NKJV
