Early warning
He told His disciples that a small boat should be kept ready for Him because of the multitude, lest they should crush Him.
Mark 3:9 - NKJV
God by His Spirit alerts His people to trouble ahead. Then He shows them how to avoid it! Think about Noah. He was warned of the coming flood waters and then with the Lord's directions built a great boat to rise above it. Likewise, the wisemen were warned of king Herod's evil intent and so "departed for their own country another way". Gen.6, Mat.2:12,22-23.
As a child of God the Holy Spirit is with you to warn you of trouble and guide you. As a babe in Christ I remember the Lord showing me how importance this was. An incident occurred where a sugar bag burst when I'd failed to heed His warning. Shortly afterwards I heard His alert, "See the cup on the coffee table? Push it further towards the middle." This time I heeded his alert. His sweet voice within me then said, "Good, now always heed My promptings even if it's a little thing and it will save you a lot of trouble."
Hearing from Heaven is a privilege given you as a child of God. Are you diligent to act upon what is said? If you do, it will save you a great deal of trouble! God's Spirit wants to show you the best course of action in the situations you face! God's Spirit wants to show the right order and the right priority to do things in! Handling things in the right priority greatly helps cause things to run smoothly and to turn out right. Pray, "Father, show me the right actions to take, the right way and the right priority for them, in Jesus' name, Amen." Psa.27:11, Joh.16:13-14.
