Prayer partners
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.
Matthew 18:19 - NKJV
Have you got a prayer partner? You should foster Christian relationships with other believers that can make for prayer partnerships. The more you grow in Christ and engage in His service the more important those partnerships will be. There will be times when praying alone won't be enough. At times the forces lined up against you or against your breakthrough will be such that you will need people standing together with you in prayer. Lev.26:8, Deut.32:30.
On one occasion I was working alone at home when my whole body started to tremble with sickness. I began to pray and apply praise and confession of God's promises against it. I was doing the things I know to do spiritually to receive healing. I was, though, still suffering and with that I had to go out to pick up our youngest child from school. I got to him and asked him to lay his hand on me and pray. He's used to this and did so readily. Immediately the symptoms of sickness started to lift. Then I picked up my wife and I had her pray in agreement with me. Half an hour later I was perfectly fine!
There is a dynamic of united prayer of agreement that God intends for us to make full use. In order for this to happen you need to recognise the people whom God has given you as your prayer partners. Develop prayer partnerships or relationships with those with whom you have a spiritual affinity or closeness. Nurture your relationship of prayer with them.
Recognise when you need to call for prayer!
